Now after 3 days that the website is open the dynamic and diversity of the project is very encouraging. I already have commitment from 8 sculptors to create a "Pillar of Freedom"

following the two rules of the project. 200 cm high and the tiltle must discribe a value or behavior that builds a pillar for a free way of living, In the discussions i experience many surprises talking about the topics, which come to the mind of the artists. For every artist it is a process to finally decide which topic he or she will translate into a piece of art, Usually  thoughts float  a bit arround before the final idea i born. But in the disussions i have heard already topics like, renewable enregy,authenticity,cooperation,nature,family and plenty more. Is`nt that exiting. In the Gallery you find the names of the artists which have already commited to build a sculpture. The material is also quite divers as i have already proposal for stone,wood and felt .In case you see only the buttom with the name of a sculptor in the gallery this artist is still in process of decsion about the title, as the project is quite new.Once the decision is taken and the process of creating has started each artist will post photos and contribute to the blog. I am very much looking forward follow how strong our message for freedom can become. But also you can contribute actively to the project through differnt channels. You can click for freedom, you can share your thoughts about what are the pillars of freedom from your point of view on the website, you can donate, you sponsor a stone for a young artist which cannot buy the material to build a sculpture or you can simply be inspired by actively following the website and sharing with friends to reach more people with the idea.
